Last week I was lucky enough to join forces with the talented local watercolor artist Britt Bates for a Candlefish Maker Break workshop, hosted at their charming shop on Wentworth in downtown Charleston.
I was blown away by the enthusiasm and raw talent of the crafty group of ladies that joined us for an evening of Prosecco, brush lettering (with Tombow brush pens AND Aquash water brush pens), and watercolor greenery painting. Doesn’t everyone paint better with a couple of glasses of bubbly under their belt? I’m referring to everyone else but me, naturally, as that’s generally frowned upon for a 6 month pregnant lady.
So grateful to the lovely folks at Candlefish for having us and hosting the crafty goodness, and excited to announce that due to an amazing demand for the class, we’ll be doing another one on June 9th! Be sure to sign up early to get your spot. Details and official event posting coming soon!
